In this video tutorial, bookmarking a PDF document using parent / child relationships for easier navigation is demonstrated. Bookmarking your PDFs will allow screen-reading devices to locate your document's headings and subheadings for users so that they can then navigate to the sections of their choosing more quickly. They also provide visual organization of the document's content, as well, which benefits all users, particularly when the document is long and has many sections of content. In the attachments tab for this document is a PDF file that provides visual as well as graphic images of the bookmarking tutorial. As always, if you need immediate assistance with a technical matter, or if you would like to schedule either a one-on-one or a group training session, please contact TTUHSC's Student Disability Office at DisabilityServices@ttuhsc.edu.
