• The Frontera de Salud Project volunteered and served over 60 patients across four communities, including general check-ups, blood pressure, glucose screenings, and more 

• The Frontera de Salud Project is a student-led initiative designed to improve access to preventive healthcare and health education across the Big Bend region 

• Dr. Poorvanshi Alag recently received the William W. “Bill” Richards Rural Psychiatry Award
