The students are all Master of Public Health students at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and traveled to Peru in order to complete an Applied Practice Experience (APE) project. The students conducted a community assessment that included focus groups, key informant interviews, surveys and water testing. Through these endeavors, the students were able to gather information about the area they were in and gain a better understanding of the community.
