Stephan Kesting is best known for being a martial artist and Brazilian
jiu-jitsu blackbelt with a large social media following on Youtube, Instagram,
and Twitter. He also has 2 degrees in biology, a strong background in experimental
design and statistics, and 22 years of experience as a first responder,
currently holding the rank of captain in the Delta Fire Department and having
been awarded the Medal of Bravery from the Canadian Government. For the last 18
months he has generated significant amounts of backlash and controversy by
using his social media to combat misinformation and disinformation about

Dr. Dennis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public
Health, he also holds positions in the TTUHSC School of Medicine as well as the
TTU Sociology department. Dr. Dennis holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the
University of Colorado Boulder. His research primarily explores social
determinants of health, and more recently, the intersection between mental
health and criminal justice.
